2012 Honda Civic Sdn 4dr Auto LX

Slip into this maroon 2012 Honda Civic Sedan and you’ll immediately understand why the Civic has such a loyal following. It’s the kind of compact sedan that’s easy to live with every day—easy to park, comfortable on the commute, and ready to handle errands, school runs, or weekend cruising without making a fuss about it.

Under the hood is Honda’s 1.8L i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, a combo known for smooth, sensible performance. Around town, the drive-by-wire throttle and Eco Assist system encourage a lighter touch, helping you stay mindful of efficiency while still enjoying that classic Civic “just feels right” response. The motion-adaptive electric power steering keeps things light and confident, and the suspension setup—MacPherson struts up front with a multi-link rear—helps the car feel composed over bumps while staying nicely predictable through turns.

Inside, the tan cloth interior feels inviting and practical, with comfortable front bucket seats and a fold-down rear seatback when you need a little extra flexibility for longer items. The cabin layout is refreshingly straightforward, with a tilt/telescoping steering column to help you dial in your driving position and a smart multi-information display that serves up the essentials—trip details, fuel economy, and miles-to-empty—without distraction. Air conditioning with air filtration keeps the cabin comfortable, and little everyday conveniences like power windows (with driver auto up/down), handy storage areas, cup holders, and interior lighting make daily use feel easy.

Safety is thoughtfully covered too, with stability assist and traction control working in the background, a full set of airbags (including side curtains), anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution and brake assist, tire pressure monitoring, and LATCH anchors for child seats. And when the weather turns chilly, you’ll appreciate the rear window defroster with timer.

A CARFAX report is available for this Civic, so you can shop with extra confidence. If you’re looking for a well-rounded sedan that’s comfortable, efficient, and pleasantly simple to own, this maroon Civic checks all the right boxes.
